  25. ALL providers in this area are PPP only. I live in a IBM only world.

  27. The configure doc's for PPP say that for dynamic, the MTU must be '0' 
  28. this is not a option in 4.3.

  30. Once I have established contact and have been authorized entry by my pass 
  31. word the server starts the ppp configuration data. No questions or responses
  32. needed, required or accepted.

  34. When I use the 4.3 dialer it dials hooks up and turns on PPP, turns off PPP,
  35. of course by this time my server has tried to establish the PPP conection
  36. but can not because PPP is offline. I can not get it back on line!!!!
  37. This crashes the system and I must reboot.

  39. When I used the old Startnet and config's my system asks the server for 
  40. "Querying the name service for your host name". At this point the Amitcp/IP 
  41. startup window is still up, but if you close it you are really on line. 
  42. Once in a while when starting Amitcp4.3 (old startnet) I get a message "Could 
  43. not find a valid key file",  and the above request, it however it continues 
  44. to start-up and runs. It took about 4 hours to figure out that it was really 
  45. on line.

  47. After a day of switching through all of the configure options this is 
  48. where I was at.
